Dental Fear?

Do you have a fear or phobia of the dentist? Dental fear is a normal emotional reaction to one or more specific threatening stimuli in the dental situation. Our doctors and staff are friendly and accommodating to patients with dental anxiety issues.

Latest Technology

We take twice the number of continuing education hours rqeuired by law. We do this to keep up with changing technlogy, techniques, and materials. Recent changes we've embraced are as follows: new all ceramic crown material, new comosite filing material, new local anesthetic, new office suction and air compressor disinfection, more durable night guard material, improved digital X-ray software.

Specialist Dentist

Dr. Glass graduated from Johns Hopkins University with honors and was awarded a B.A. Degree in the biological sciences in 1975. He subsequently attended the University of Maryland Dental School and was awarded the D.D.S. degree in 1979 after graduating at the top of his class.

Home Like Comfort

Our office, in the historic district of Gaithersburg, was converted from a one-story, single family home into a dental facility over thirty years ago. Dr. Glass has occupied this space for the past sixteen years and has made numerous improvements and renovations during that time.

Accepted Insurances

We currently are participants in the following PPO insurance plans:

United Concordia
Geha Dental
Connection Dental

We also work with Care Credit and deferred Healthcare Savings Accounts.

Please note that if we don't belong to your insurance network, you can still use your benefits for care in our office so long as it is PPO type insurance. All PPO insurance carriers allow you to go out-of-network, the difference being that our standard fees would apply rather than the (sometimes) lower fees negotiated with dentists in-network. In most cases, for routine services, the difference in fee is minimal, but please ask us about copays prior to treatment if you are unsure what your obligation will be for any given service. You should also be aware that almost every dental insurance plan available will limit your maximum annual benefit to between $1500 and $2000. Should you require more extensive treatment that would exceed you annual allowance, we will structure a formal payment plan for you, assuming an acceptable credit history. We do request that you be prepared to satisfy any applicable deductible and/or copayment required by your insurance contract at the time you receive care.
